Taylor Swift always has a new project in the works. Not only is she in the process of re-recording the majority of her past albums, but she's also in the midst of a massive world tour, has been releasing brand-new music, and she is slated to direct a feature film.
To all my fellow Swifties, here is a nifty guide to help you keep track of all Swift's eras (past, present, and re-recorded), as well as everything the pop star has coming up.
The Eras Tour - 2024
Taylor Swift has been on the Eras Tour since March of 2023, and she will be throughout 2024. After completing the first leg of her United States tour – which saw her announce both the re-recording of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and the re-release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) – the singer went on her South American tour. Now, in 2024, that international leg is ongoing as she has gone to Asia, Australia and Europe, and she’ll hit North America (again) at the very end of the year.
Since Swift's Reputation tour, she released Lover, folklore, evermore, Fearless (Taylor's Version), Red (Taylor's Version), and Midnights. Since the start of the Eras Tour, she has dropped Speak Now (Taylor's Version),1989 (Taylor's Version), and her brand new album The Tortured Poets Department, so there's a lot of ground to cover.
On opening night, her set was three hours long, it featured 44 songs, per Variety, and it covered every album she's ever released (however, her first album is only occasionally featured). Following the release of TTPD she switched the concert up by adding a set for her eleventh album, taking out a few songs and mashing the folklore and evermore sets together. She also picks two new surprise songs for every show, and she occasionally switches up the setlist (like she did after she and Joe Alwyn broke up) making it so her tour truly covers the majority of her discography.
So fellow Swifties who managed to survive the Ticketmaster fiasco (which ended up causing a Senate hearing for the ticketing company, that even Taylor Swift herself was mad about) get your minds, hearts, and wallets ready because we’re still rocking out to the pop star's biggest hits from across her career.
Reputation (Taylor’s Version) - Original Album In 2017 - TBD
We’ve already gotten Red, Fearless, Speak Now and 1989 in Taylor’s Versions in Swift's quest to reclaim her music after Scooter Braun bought her catalog. She’s also created Lover, folklore, evermore, Midnights and The Tortured Poets Department, which are not part of the re-releases. Reputation would be the most recent album -- among those slated to be re-recorded -- to get released again.
The 2017 album was a sharp turn from Swift’s earlier body of work. It’s pop-oriented with more influence from Game of Thrones than the country music genre. The overarching themes of the album address Swift’s relationship with fame and the overwhelming media attention she’s received.
It features hits like “Look What You Made Me Do” and “Delicate” as well as many other bangers like “Getaway Car” and “Don’t Blame Me.” So far, we’ve gotten a few tastes of this album, because shows like The Summer I Turned Pretty used Rep (TV) tracks during episodes. However, other than that and Swift’s Rep-coded outfits, there’s no sign of when the album will come out.
But that hasn’t stopped Swifties from clowning. From freaking out during the Eras movie premiere about Rep, to thinking an announcement might happen during her 100th concert, fans have been hoping for an announcement for a very, very long time. However, if we’ve learned anything when it comes to this album it’s that “there will be no explanation, just Reputation.”
While there’s no confirmed information about when Reputation (Taylor’s Version) will be re-released, there are tons of theories, and Swifties believe it will be the next album dropped. So, keep your fingers crossed and get “...Ready For It”.
Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version) - Original Album In 2006 - TBD
This brings us to the album that started it all in 2006, Swift’s self-titled album. This is a full-blown country album and the record that made the singer a household name.
Taylor Swift features classics like “Our Song,” “Tim McGraw” and “Teardrops on My Guitar.” Personally, I can’t wait to hear this album re-recorded because Swift was only 16 when it came out. Even on Fearless and Red (Taylor’s Versions), you can hear how her voice has grown, and I can’t wait to see that growth when she re-releases her debut album.
Sadly, despite what seemed like a tease at the Golden Globes with her green dress and some debut-coded surprise song choices, there have really been no hints about Taylor Swift. This has led Swifties to believe that it will be her final re-release after Reputation (Taylor’s Version).
Taylor Swift's Feature Film - TBD
It was announced that Taylor Swift would be directing her first feature film in December of 2022. This came after she got lots of praise and acclaim for her short film All Too Well. Along with that, she's also directed the majority of her music videos in recent years, so clearly, she loves to be behind the camera too.

There are no known details about Swift's movie, other than it will be distributed by Searchlight Pictures. However, Swifties have so many theories about it, with lots of them pointing to her song "Last Great American Dynasty" as the perfect source material for a movie.
However, while we don't know much, considering the actor's long list of A-List friends, like Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sadie Sink, Selena Gomez, and so many more, it's safe to say that she will have a stellar cast for the film.
